"Roku TV Powered Off Error" When Using App

I get the above message frequently when trying to connect to my Roku-TCL TV (model 40FS4610R) and have to try to reconnect. This will also pop up automatically when I am using the private listening feature forcing me to have to reconnect to the TV while jogging. I have tried deleting and redownloading the application, entering the IP address manually (which doesn't work), restarting the TV, and have updated the TV without success. Anything else I can try?

One correction, the roku application will disconnect and prompt me "roku TV powered off, turn on your tv and try again" despite the TV being on.

Hi there, 

Thanks for the note. In Settings>System>Power on your TV, turn on 'Fast TV start'. Does this help resolve the issue?
