All was working fine until the S10 forced a general update. Coincidence?
Network, permissions etc all checked and all still fine. Tried manual connection. It just says device does not exist on IP address even though my ROKU player assures me that it does.
Help- I want to play my music through my TV speakers again...
I've had various Rokus fail to see my local net, but never my phones (S7 and S9+) but maybe the cure I've been able to use for the Rokus will work for your phone - reboot the router, then reboot the device (phone in this case).

Thanks but I've already tried that. Rebooted Roku, rebooted router. Rebooted phone. Reinstalled the app. It must be something to do with the update.
I had to reset the router rather than reboot. Then it worked. Hurray!
It has just disappeared again - says device not found once more- it was there two seconds ago...
