All day my mobile app has not been working. I use it as a remote for both of my tvs. As soon as i click on the devices on my app it freezes up and will not work. I do not have the remotes for the tvs only the app which is what i rely on. I am unable to even turn on my tv with the app right now. Anyone ever deal with this? Is there a roku phone number i can call? Tried the chat and got no answer.
I’m having the same issue. App worked fine this morning, turned off TV to go run some errands and eat dinner and when I tried to turn it back on the app freezes on the “devices” screen. It will not let me choose my device. Uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, signed in and everything was great until it wanted to search for devices then it froze again. It’s not working on my iPhone Xs nor my daughters iPhone 8.
It is ridiculous! We had to buy two universal roku remotes for $20 a piece. This will be the absolute last roku product I buy especially since there is no way to contact an agent via phone call to try and resolve the issues. Roku needs to make this right and fix the issue for all of us.
I finally got the app to work again. I unplugged my TV and plugged it back in and everything started working the way it’s supposed to. Seems kind of stupid that you’d have to go through that kind of process, but I suppose I should be grateful that it’s working again no matter how stupid the fix.
