People do it, but some have difficulty. We see reports that people have to name their hotspots with only alpha-numeric characters and no spaces (perhaps same for passwords?).
Also there have many posts from people who have not been able to get iPhones to connect -- or connect the first time but have trouble repeating. If you have an iPhone you want to use, please do a forum search for these posts.
