I broke my remote and I have been using the mobile app. Well now I have new internet and I'm trying to hook up the roku. So I hooked it up to the internet box and I can't find my device on my phone because I pressed the reset button. How do I get my device back on my phone with the mobile app. I don't know any passwords for it. Model:3931x

I hope this is all the info I need. I also have no idea how to get the ip address from the roku. Please help!
A net-connected device has no innate IP numbers. Its IP is assigned to the device by your router each time a net connection is established, so until the Roku is set up and connected to the net, it has no IP number.
The Roku app on a phone or tablet can only connect to a Roku that is already set up on the same local network as the mobile device is using. This means the Roku app cannot be used to set up a new net connection for the Roku device.
Possible work around: If your Roku was previously set up on a prior network, and if the Roku has not had its net connection reset nor undergone a factory reset, it should still be trying to connect to its former net. If you can set your router to the same net name (SSID) and password as your previous setup, your Roku should connect to it. If you then connect your phone to that net you should again be able to control your Roku via the Roku app.
Otherwise, you'll need to have a remote compatible with your Roku model to set up your connection to the new network/password. Once your Roku and phone are connected to the same local network you should be able to use your phone as a remote again..
Your 3931 is a Roku Express+. All Roku devices other than Roku sticks will respond to a shared set of infrared (IR) commands so any cheap universal remote you find at Walmart or a dollar store that says it is compatible with Roku (not Roku TV) will work as long has you have a direct line of sight to the Roku. Or you can buy the "Simple Remote" from Roku via https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/player#Remotes
On that same page, you can get the slightly more expensive "Voice Remote" which connects via wifi so it doesn't have to be pointed directly at the Roku. It can also control the power and volume on most tvs via point-at-tv IR.
