Will XD remote work with Premiere+?

My Roku XD from 2010 keeps crashing during streaming. Thinking of using a friend's Roku Premier+ that he doesn't have a remote for anymore. Can my remote from the Roku XD work with the Roku Premiere+?

Yes, the xd pictured came with IR remote, but later roku 2 xd came with bluetooth remote and that won't work on your premiere+.

Yes, the xd pictured came with IR remote, but later roku 2 xd came with bluetooth remote and that won't work on your premiere+.

Thank you for clarifying that the Roku 2 XD won't work. That is actually the model I have. Not the original XD.
