Unable to open Disney+ on Roku 2 XS. I have reset to factory defaults and updated to the latest version. When I check on the channer Store it shows up as installed
That model is too old, the disney + may be on your account, but if you don't have compatible device to use with it it won't show up on non-compatible roku home screens.

I'm having the same problem with Peacock. And now also Spotify. Honestly, what a waste if a product can't last more than 5 years. If it isn't broken, why should I have to upgrade to watch a channel that I pay $for? It seems logical that I can add any single channel to the device in hand, doesn't it?
I agree. I can't connect to Disney+ and now cant connect to the internet at all. What a blatant money grab by ROKU. Or is it the flat screen TV that is now the problem.
I do not understand your response, which appears to list in a different feed. The Disney+ app cannot be located through my Roku XS but the old Disney app is there. The Sirrius app is on the system and would load and play until yesterday (or earlier in the week) when suddenly the system says that the Roku is not connected to the Internet.
I found a reply in another stream that said I should do this:
So apparently, Roku can only connect to 2.4GHz frequency of your wifi and not the 5.0. I was having the same issue where the day before my Roku express was working fine, and the next day it wouldn't connect to wifi at all. I even did factory reset for the device, and that still didn't solve the issue. Make sure your wifi is split into two separate frequencies (Mine was not and apparently my router was automatically deciding which device connected to which frequency. I had to call my ISP to separate the two so when you try to connect to wifi, you will see two options with your network name, one with 2.4 in the name and other with 5 or 5.0 in the name.) After separating my two wifi frequencies, and connecting to 2.4 GHz wifi, it seemed to have connected fine. Now all I have to do is re-register my device, and log into all my streaming accounts again. Sigh! Hopefully ya'll dont have to factory reset and are able to connect without that step.
Is that true? Roku is not able to adapt to the higher frequency? Is there a patch?

There are a couple of network connection problems recently being reported that have been caused by updates to routers. These have primarily been reported with routers supplied by internet providers, but it's possible they could also occur with user-owned routers that have received updates.
If you need to make configuration changes on equipment supplied by your internet provider but you have no access to its settings, you may need to request your internet provider to make the changes for you.
You posted in two different threads. That's usually a bad idea. Pick one and stay with it, for this very reason.
The other thread:

So, the Roku 2XS is a 2.4 GHz only device. There's no software patch that resolves a hardware difference. You won't connect to a 5 GHz network with a Roku 2XS
Also, as I suggested in the other thread, the Roku 2XS is long discontinued, and no longer officially supported by Roku. Many app developers as well are dropping support for it. It's probably time to replace it. The device is from 2011, and was discontinued in March 2013.
