I just bought my roku 6 months ago I overheated so bad I could barely touch it. Now it will not even turn on. I tried ordering a free hdmi extender and it keeps telling me my serial number is wrong. I just keep getting sent in circles. I dont want to buy a new one if I can fix this one. I let it cool down and as soon as I plugged it back in it immediately got super hot again.
We only had our device 6 months and it did the same thing. Followed all the recommended steps and it did it again. Anyone else buy another one? Is how did that go
