Re: Oldfer Roku Device 2012 LT 9D2A5009544 11/30/2012
Yes, that model is no longer supported. It won't get any further updates, and there are a lot of recent channels that won't even run on it. Depending on your needs, it's probably time for a replacement.
When you say you have an older TV, does that mean it doesn't have HDMI inputs? If so, there is no current Roku that supports it any longer. You can still find the Roku Express+ (3910) available online, which is the last model that included composite outputs. However, even refurbished they seem quite expensive, as in $75 or more.
Dan Roku Stick (3600), Ultra (4640), Ultra (4670), Ultra (4800), Premiere (3920), Insignia 720p Roku TV, Sharp 4K Roku TV, Nvidia Shield, Windows 10 Pro x64 running Serviio and Plex on a wired Gigabit network.
