No support for my old Roku, but I still need dual outputs
I just learned that Roku will no longer support my old Roku LT, which has both an A/V out and an HDMI out. I send the A/V out to my stereo receiver and the the HDMI out to a projector. (I do not have a TV.)
Is there newer supported Roku model with more than one output?
If not, is my only option to get an HDMI splitter and connect one channel to an HDMI-to-AV converter (ugh!!!) if I upgrade to a new model Roku?
Re: No support for my old Roku, but I still need dual outputs
The Roku Express is the only available new from Roku player with analog audio out. What I can't say for certain is if it will still send video out the HDMI with the audio out analog. However, I would expect it to work that way. Of course, it's only 1080, but so was your LT so I'm assuming that's fine for you.
