My Roku is not working at all

The Roku 2 I have is set up correctly but it is not showing up up in the app.Not only that it doesn't even load up on any TV I try it on and I no longer have a remote. How do I make it connect and work

Thanks for the note. 

Please be aware that the Roku 2 XD is a much older device.

If you've tried another HDMI cord and plugging the device to another TV and still not able to resolve the issue, it may sound like the device is on it way out.
