I bought a used roku 2 xs and when i plug it in the screen stays black

I bought a used roku 2 xs from a garage sale and when i hooked it up the screen was black, i tried to hard reset it, trying it on different tv’s, and trying different hdmi cables, the device itself turns on and the remote seems to work with it, but the screen stays black, what should i do???

Hope you didnt pay too much for it.

Roku has stopped supporting and updating this Model.

Yeah thats nothing.

You can get a new Roku starting around 30 bucks.
