voice response when making any change of channels, etc

I inadvertently acquired a voice which precedes a change of any item under Roku. It is annoying,  disconcerting and totally unnecessary. You maybe can handle this annoyance but I can't. Please help?

This feature is called the Audio Guide.  To prevent inadvertantly activating it again you can disable it via Settings > Accessibility > Shortcut (under "Audio Guide").

This solution worked great!   But, you have to be on the settings screen.   I found that after trial and error on other screens.
