Ive been reading about the premiere being able to use night mode but when i got to audio there is nothing there for a night mode selecting

The setting is only available during playback:  Play content/Options (*)/Volume Mode=Night

ah alright the way it was sounding was it was an all the time feature that once selected stays set

The setting is only available during playback, but it stays active until you turn it off again (it will survive restarts).

(Yes, this is a poor UI design decision by Roku)
