A couple weeks ago, the notification about adding a microSD card popped up on my Roku Premier+. I ordered a cheap SanDisk class 10, 16GB microSD from Amazon. I see now that this card may not be comparable, but that is a different issue...
Last night, I tried to insert the microSD into the opening under the HDMI slot, and I am having issues with properly installing it. I have no idea how dar/deep into the opening the card should go. I read online that you are supposed to orient the card with the information on the top and contacts on the bottom, but every time I put it in, it is crooked. I searched and searched for an image of a Premier+ showing how far in the card should go. Can anyone help me out?

obviously no one who replied has the premiere+ player. I have the exact same issue it's annoying. First it was crooked. Then when I was able to get it in like it should be (felt the resistance and the click like it normally would) It most definitely isnt flush with the player. And it falls out. Were you able to figure this out at all!?!? I cannot find help for this online. Tjanks!
I'm having a similar issue with mine. I got the message on my Premier+ that it wanted a memory card. I put in a 32GB I had and it locked up the unit and the remote would not work. I ordered the 2GB card from ROKU and just got it today. Same issue. It boots to the home screen but the remote does not work at all. I tried the phone app remote and it would not work with the card inserted either. Take the card out and reboot and it works as before. I wonder if its a firmware change issue?
I was able to get my premier+ and 2gb memory card I bought from ROKU to play nice together. I unplugged the ethernet cable and connected to the wifi network without the card in there. I then re-paired the remote by pushing the button under the battery cover. Once it was connected I inserted the SD card while the HDMI cable was still in and the power was on. It poped up immediately and asked to format the card. I formated it and its all good.
