audio doesn't work when resuming a show

Roku Expess through an HDMI av box. When first viewing a NEW show (Apple Netflix, Disneyl etc) the audio works. Also when viewing trailer/ intro audio works. But when resuming a show previously started or resuming a new episode, there is no audio. Suggestions?

You didnt mention your Roku model # or firmware version:  Settings/System/About

1) Check for updates:  Settings/System/System update/Check now - try again

2)  Restart your Roku:   Settings/System/System restart/Restart  - try again

3) Change Settings/Audio/HDMI=PCM Stereo - try again

Thank you. Model 3930X  Updated version 10.0.0 Build 4209

I changed audio settings as advised. Audio now working when resuming a show or series previously started. Thank you for advice. Regards.
