Youtube App CC Caption Font Size 300%! Really?

Using the Roku for the Youtube channel app. Having an issue with the CC settings when activated in the app as the font size is always set at 300%. Every time we change to another video we have to enable the CC on the video and the 300% font covers the screen!

Looking for any help or recommendations to get it to stay on 75%.

Thanks

Bumping this and hoping for an answer, too. Lately the size is staying where I want, but the font and color settings keep reverting, and I suspect these are the same issue.

Re: Youtube App CC Caption Font Size 300%! Really?

I've noticed the old 300% size font on YouTube recurring on my Stick+ running 9.4

This has started recently. The temporary (per video) fix is to access CC, then do "reset" on the Font setting within the YouTube app. However, as I said, it's per video. I've not found a way to make the setting keep.

It is not happening on other devices at the moment, just the Stick+ devices.

I am  constantly having this  issue on my 50 inch TCL Roku Tv, and I  as well  have not been able to correct it.

Re: Youtube App CC Caption Font Size 300%! Really?

Hi @Salpihe

I hope you're doing well.

Please note that channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. Since the caption issue is within the YouTube channel, it'll be best to directly reach out to YouTube support to report the issue and further help. There's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from the channel developer.

You can contact their support here: https://support.google.com/youtube/?hl=en#topic=9257498

We appreciate your understanding.

All the best,
Kariza
