Your device screen-reader, a good start, has some flaws:
Hi I have a roku TV. I'll start by saying, for low budget screen reader this is a good start.
Flaws exist though and a update with more aria tags and HTML web 2.0 coding will fix the problems.
One major problem is, when signing into an app, the screen reader becomes disabled. You are not able to hear the fields like email or password so you can login and use 3RD party apps.
The mobile application needs improvements there are missing untagged unlabeled elements making it only partial useful for screen reader users.
I don't want to be long-winded here.
Other minor recommendations:
Have product testers with diverse abilities and disabilities to evaluate your usability of your products. It appears as a product user who is an expert in assistive technology use, your system lags behind the competition. It is appearing as if, accessibility options were started then abruptly stopped as a unfinished project.
