Why doesn't ROKU put a time/date stamp on their devices so I know if it's new?

I own:

.  Android TV

.  Every Amazon Device including every cube and stick

.  3 ROKU TVs multiple brands

.  ROKU Ultra Streaming

I'm trying to figure things out.  They (ROKU) doesn't time stamp any of their most recent options for purchase.  (WHY??!!)

.I want to give them money and get the most recent ROKU but ROKU won't help me decide.

Why I want it?  ROKUs do crash!

It's fact.

Even after updates.

They crash and lockup!

I want the best ROKU today connected to my 3 TVs in my house.

Any suggestions?

ROKU?

You there.

You alive.

Answer.

Re: Why doesn't ROKU put a time/date stamp on their devices so I know if it's new?

The Roku Wikipedia article has a lot of details on when each different model was first manufactured.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roku

My oldest device is a Roku 3 (4200) 3rd generation from 2013 and it still works very well. The only reason I got rid of my tryst Roku 2 XD (3050) was the lack of Netflix profiles.

The newness of a product will not make it "crash proof".. I own (and love) a Fire Stick 4k as well as a Chromecast, as well as 3 Roku devices.

All 5 devices have crashed. It's not limited to Rokus.

Yeah, I got some Rokus.
