When will Roku fixed the forced 3-4 hour time frame for inactivity

Hello I recently got a Roku element tv  and I need have to background noise playing while I sleep. I noticed that it after 3 hours (I timed it) if I don’t touch my remote constantly my tv shutdown's. I know this isn’t a new issue because I’ve seen multiple post on this forum about this huge issue and how their Roku is basically useless. Why in heck would u make a tv that doesn’t want to do what a tv does and just okay things,As a company Roku needs to fix this asap. If anyone has anything to help fix this or even some products to buy (i.e a new tv, remote, etc) that doesn’t do this forced shut off/ inactivity cut off no matter what setting u put in let me know.

@sumsumbtslov

Even after turning off Bandwidth Saver, this still happens? [Settings > Network > Bandwidth saver]

The bandwidth saver was introduced in Roku OS 9.2 in 2019, and always included the ability to turn it off. So, there isn't a fix because there's not an issue. It's a setting that can be turned off.

Be aware that is a device setting only. Individual apps can have their own timeout over which Roku has no control.

Click on System in Settings. Go to Power. Uncheck 'Turn off TV after 4 hours'.
