Are we kidding - you a#shol*es are losing more loyal customers than you can afford. HBOMAX and Peacock need to be available to your customers. Getting in a pissing match over $$ is costing you more money than it’s worth. People stuck at home, have purchased your once great product but can’t use it? The HBO app has been available for 2 months, no updates on progress, no updates at all? You need to realize that the people who helped your business succeed are the same people that can make it fail. We are your boss, we pay your salary, without us your company wouldn’t exist. Fix the problem ASAP and update us twice a day with progress. If you want me to negotiate I would be happy to and still let your “bosses” know what is happening - transparency and results will help you get back on top.
While I do not have the same exact concern, it is similar and on target with the lack of give a **bleep** about customers that have literally built the company. I bought a Hisense Roku TV and finally was getting around to setting it up. Not my first rodeo, so I got to the point where I had to enter the code to link the TV to my account, only to get a message that the device/account is locked...call customer service.
I did so, only to be asked to pay $99 to "upgrade" my account to 5 devices...because they changed their policies and 1-5 devices cost $99 for a 3 yr period to have an account...or $149 for a Premier Membership to operate an unlimited number of devices FOREVER. What the actual **bleep**??????????????
As noted, you did NOT go to the true Roku site to link it. Most browsers use the address bar as a search bar, too, and if you start typing, and see what looks like a finished address, it actually ends up taking you to a scam site. You need to FULLY type in addresses, and review what the address says when you are on the actual site.
