Use Roko Streaming stick as input to Onkyo HT-S3305

I am looking at buying a QNAP NAS which will serve as a Plex Server, and I am looking to get the Roku Express product specifically to stream media from the NAS.

I have an LG TV which has no spare HDMI ports

However on my Onkyo HT-S3305 AV kit I do have an unused HDMI port.

If I purchase the Roku Express product, will I be able to plug it into the spare HDMI port on my AV receiver and be able to watch movies via Plex on NAS.

My Roku Express is plugged into my AV Receiver. I notice you have stick in the title and Express in the text.  I avoided the streaming stick because I thought it might be in the "shadow" of the AVR relative to the router.

Thanks for the response

My apologies for getting everything mixed up,

I can see that I can purchase three different products in the UK

ROKU Express HD Streaming Media Player

ROKU Premiere 4K HDR Streaming Media Player

ROKU Streaming Stick+ 4K HDR Streaming Media Player

From reviews the only difference appears to be price and having 4K streaming, which right now I am not concerned with as I do not have a 4K TV

But its great to hear that you are doing what I would like to do and that I should have no problems myself
