TV OS - Does it matter?

Jump to solution

I am trying to decide between a Samsung and a Hisense TV. They have Tizen or Android OS. If I am using a Roku streaming device. Does it matter which OS my new TV will have?

No.  That's only for their apps and has nothing to do with externally connected devices like a Roku.  If you connect a Roku you may never use their apps except for the ones that aren't available on Roku (like HBO Max).
