Suggested MicroSD when it isn’t available

My Roku Ultra constantly makes me reload the handful of apps I use daily so it suggests you buy a MocroSD. When I bought one and went to insert it, there’s no slot! Very lazy of Roku to not program into their software to not display that suggestion if a MicroSD slot doesn’t exist on your device. Now I have an unused MicroSD card lying around that I wasted money on. Roku Ultra (4670 series)

Re: Suggested MicroSD when it isn’t available

I don't have an Ultra but I do have a Roku3 with a microSD slot. The slot is sort of hard to find directly under the HDMI port, perhaps it's the same on your Ultra.

That"s exactly where it is located..... You will have to remove the HDMI cable and the Micro SD slot is there!

Re: Suggested MicroSD when it isn’t available

That's peachy for those with older ultras or lower-end models of Roku, but the current Ultra model does not support MicroSD cards though it constantly recommends them when opening apps.

I agree it is very deceptive, and hijacking a thread isn't helpful.
