OK, I just exchanged a new streaming stick that was giving me the same problem. Once again I am not able to get past the update screen. How long is someone supposed to be waiting on this pop-up screen to finish it’s update? I called the roku tech-support line and they told me this was normal and to be more patient. Is that true?
I am wondering if it has something to do with my network as opposed to the streaming stick. I am using a Wi-Fi network in my apartment complex where changing the router channel (as suggested) is not in my control. Wondering If I can get the stick to update on a stronger network signal and give it another try.
