Streaming Stick+ auto turn on casting?

My Premier+ turns on my TV automatically when I cast from my phone. Is there a way to do this with the Streaming Stick+? I currently am powering the Streaming Stick+ via usb from the TV.

You need to power the SS+ from the provided AC adapter (or an always-on USB source) in order to get the desired result (SS+ turning on TV automatically when casting..).
