Search by genre/movies/tv across platforms

Jump to solution

Unless I have missed it, I think it would be great to have the ability to Browse (not just search specific titles) from the Roku platform by genre for movies/tv across all the platforms (channels) I currently have. Also, perhaps search by FREE and it could search Nflx/hulu/prime etc..places you have paid for subscription. I find searching nflx/hulu/amazon etc for something to watch on a saturday night to be quite time consuming

Thanks for that.  However, the zones still do not seem to show results that include services i already pay for like disney + or Hulu or netflix??

also, in my opinion you need to be able to browse zones. searching for a zone (ie, action, comedy) is quite cumbersome.

Thanks

Right, Id just like to be able to browse ALL movies from ALL of my subscriptions or select channels.  The new zones don't seem to offer that in a very simplified way within one channel.

The only thing I've found so far is reelgood.com.  As of now it's just a web based service, but they've said they're working on getting an app for ROKU.  Not sure when that will be tho.
