Just wanted others with experience to advise if a roku ultra would be a good replacement for my two google Chromecasts please? Primarily I need a device to stream media with content held locally on it. I have problems using for example spotify on my chromecast when connected to various devices that have their media locally. The chromecast still streams from the internet source even thou I have the media locally stored. As we are on satellite internet (skymuster in Australia) it ends up buffering stalling and pauses quite a lot, which kills the listening or viewing experience. So I thought an ultra might solve this if things like Spotify can be run directly from the ultra as well as storing media on it. Yes I can put in a high speed sd card to boost storage capacity. ?
