@Gerry42

Thanks for the post.

As @DBDukes mentioned, this appears to be a hardware related issue.

Have you tried contacting Sharp support yet to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS.

You can reach them here: http://www.sharpusa.com/CustomerSupport/ContactUs.aspx or at 1-888-935-8880.

Thanks,
Danny

What do you mean by "TV keeps flashing"?

Also, have you tried the physical on/off switch that's on the TV?

Sorry, it's hard for me to read your posts. Punctuation helps me understand separate sentences better.

I think you're saying that you plug it in, try to turn it on, the Sharp Roku TV logo appears, but then the TV turns off. Or the screen goes black without turning off. I'm having a hard time understanding which.

Confirm that you held down the Reset Button for 10 seconds. Not about 10 seconds. Not until something happened on the screen. A full 10 seconds.

That sounds like a hardware issue. @RokuMary-F can probably guide you into getting service from the manuafacturer.
