Why does my Roku says software updated but still on 9.2.0?
any ideas as to why?
Each build has a build number. So while you might still be on the 9.2.0 core, you might have received an updated build. I can't say why you haven't received 9.3 yet, but it appears that the rollout has resumed. I have seen several users report receiving 9.3 recently.

Just read here about all the issues with 9.3. Unless you like being a beta tester you should be very happy you are on 9.2. I'm sure glad I'm still on 9.2 and dreading the day 9.3 arrives on my Roku device.
Unless the many issues get resolved I'm guessing I might be forced to use Chromecast more once 9.3 is shoved to my Roku device.
I just received 9.3 on 2 of my 3 Roku devices. When each of them restarted after the update I again checked for updates which confirmed the Roku software had updated to 9.3, but it then proceded to install updates for quite a few of my channel apps. At this point I've only tried it out on Prime Video and Hulu, but have had no problems. I wonder if the problems many are reporting with various channels would be solved by doing this second update step.
When a system update is done, the process does not even look at any installed channels. Once the update is done, then going back to check again is always a good idea. My just received 9.3 on my 4670 about two minutes ago, and when I repeated the update check I had four more updates. I have no idea what channels were updated, because Roku often uses some silly tag like "Supercharging options", instead of listing the actual channel being updated. But they do sometimes.
