Last night while we were watching a movie on a Roku app, the power went out and when it cam back ok, the TV was working but the Roku wasn’t. Everything was still plugged in properly, nothing had changed, but the light on the Roku device wouldn’t come on. I tried it again today and it still does not work. I did everything to troubleshoot (in plugging and plugging back in, making sure all plugs were firmly secure in their ports, and trying the device on another TV) and nothing worked. The TV shows “no signal” (on all inputs) and there is no light on the Roku device.
Power interruptions are often accompanied by voltage spikes that can harm electronics. Was your Roku plugged into a surge protector?
