Roku Ultra, HDMI 2.1 and Sony 4K 950H TV

Does the Roku Ultra support 4K on the Sony 950H 4K TV? The 950 does not have an HDMI 2.1 port and that is what Roku says it needs.

Re: Roku Ultra, HDMI 2.1 and Sony 4K 950H TV

HDMI 2.1 is not required for 4K/60. HDMI 2.0 is, and any 4K TV will have that level. In fact, I just looked at the specs for the latest Roku Ultra (model 4800), and it says it comes with HDMI 2.0b, not 2.1. So I'm not certain what you read where.

Power
HDMI 2.0b
Ethernet 10/100
USB 3.0
