Roku Smart TV in Panama?

I am considering buying a TCL Roku TV to bring to Panama (the country, not Florida).

I see that Roku will work in Panama, however the only devices available for purchase in Panama are the sticks to plug into the back of a TV.

Will a Roku enabled TV that I purchase in the USA work in Panama or do I have to buy one of the streaming sticks that show as being available in Panama (the Roku Streaming Stick + (3810, 3811 series)  and the Roku Express (3900 series)  ??

Any Roku player/TV should work fine in any country regardless of where you purchase it. Although some channels and content may work there, others will have geo-restrictions that prevent them from working.
