Roku Express Low Power Warning Frustration

Hello,

I've followed ALL the recommended troubleshooting from go.roku.com/lowpower, reddit discussion, etc. and am still having issues with my device.  Can someone please contact me and help with this low power warning?

It shouldn't be this hard to resolve this issue.  Thanks.

Re: Roku Express Low Power Warning Frustration

If you are using the supplied power adapter and not your TV's USB port (assuming you're not in the UK where apparently none is supplied), then maybe @RokuKariza-D or @RokuDanny-R can help.

@RokuKariza-D@RokuDanny-R

I've used the supplied power adapter for a year and half now and then the warning showed up.

Like I mentioned, I've tried different avenues to get this resolve but my attempt was unsuccessful.

Please help.  Thanks.

Re: Roku Express Low Power Warning Frustration

I'm having the same low power issue with a brand new Roku Premiere.  I'm using the supplied USB power cube and cable.  Can someone from support please reach out to help remedy?

Re: Roku Express Low Power Warning Frustration

Hi @Cranstol,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

I understand that you are receiving a "low power" message to your Roku device. How are you powering the Roku device? Is the device plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet?

Can you please provide the serial number/device ID on your Roku device?

I'll be able to assist you further from there.

Best regards,
Mary

Re: Roku Express Low Power Warning Frustration

Thank you for reaching out Mary.

Device is powered directly from the wall with the included USB brick and cable.

The HDMI output of the Roku is connected to an Onkyo TX-NR696 receiver that is passing the signal to a Panasonic PT-AR100U projector.

Serial number: YH00A1180071

Device ID: K4208A180071

Thank you

-James
