Roku 4400x vs 4660R

I have the older 4400x 4k Roku,   what is the difference on it and the newer 4660R  and is it worth the upgrade???

Not that much. You lose the optical out, if that matters.

I wouldn’t change if the Roku 4 works.

Well, you also get HDR with the 4660. If you've seen the difference at 4K with and without HDR, that alone is worth the upgrade. If you still need the optical out, try to find a 4640 Ultra (2016 version). It does HDR and still has the optical out, as well as Dolby Digital + decoding to standard DD.

I defer to Dan regarding 4K. He has much more experience with 4K than do I.
