I've tried renaming/editing my linked device online as well from my cell phone and still receive the following error message:

Not too long ago I was able to change the name from its original name to read a different name. Has something changed? I've closed my browser, restarted with a new page, logged back in, and tried to rename again, and still the same error message.
I have the same issue. I see all of my Roku devices listed on the "My Account" page. But the only options I see are to either Unlink the device or Enable Guest Mode. I just purchased another Roku and installed the old one in a different room and wish to rename it accordingly.

Click on the little round black "pencil" icon shown to the upper left of each listed device under the Name column.
If your browser doesn't show it, try a different browser.
Thank you. I am chagrined to say I simply missed that.
I've still not solved this. I've tried changing browser, but I can not edit the name of the roku box.
Madpoe - that black circle with the white pencil does show itself at the left of the device and room on both Chrome and the new Edge browser for me. - just as StreamerUser has stated.
Thanks for the reply - I do see the pencil, I go to edit, enter a new name when click to save I still receive the error message.
