Parental Control - Access Code at Startup for Kids

Jump to solution

Does Roku have a way to require a code upon startup only at night (such as 9pm to 5am) to keep kids from watching TV (when they wait for) after tired parents go to bed - fall asleep? Or just require a code at startup? Something that will only allow ROKU to work after the code is entered.

Your wireless router may have that capability. If it does, you can assign hours of usage to any device you wish. As for "how to" that would depend on your wireless router. They all have different steps to make it happen, but it certainly may be possible.

A little disconcerting that Danny's reply didn't include the word "yet" - how basic and useful would such a feature be!
