Having trouble with my new smart tv . It keeps updating. Cannot get it to stop updating to the latest software and just trying to use it to play games with friends but cannot get it to work at all. Please help
reset your new tv.make sure your internet is on. i just got new tv as well. all i did sign up and it did small download i think like 24 things if im right took bit but it finished. if it download let it till it done. if it’s downloading doesn’t stop.i think you should go too reset tv try again.
Some have reported success in getting beyond the update step of new installations by connecting to a different network (a wifi hotspot on a cell phone is most often cited). Once it has completed the update and starts to function, you can then change the network connection to your intended home network via Settings > Network > Set up connection.
This hasn't worked for everyone, but enough have reported success that it's probably worth a try.
