How to connect my streaming stick to android phone and iPad after switching wi-fi carriers

Just switched wi-fi carriers.  Have an old Roku stick.  Previously used iPad and/or android phone as remote. Worked perfectly.  Get message “no device recognized on your network” when using iPad or android phone.  Have re set router, re-installed Roku programs on both android, and re-set stick to factory settings.  Nothing seems to work.

@Jshufro

If your WiFi credentials changed, you need to connect your Roku device to your network. Unless you change the SSID/password to the old values, you'll need to connect your Roku using the new values. And you need a remote to do that. And, I gather you don't have the remote.

You didn't provide the model number, so depending on how old the remote is, you may be able to get a replacement remote for $20 from Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or other retailers.

If it's the old purple stick, model 3500, you're out of luck. They don't make a remote that works with that device any longer.
