How do I remove the Closed Caption setting on my device?

There are several channels on my Roku device that now have the Closed Caption option activated. I would like to remove this option. How can this be accomplished?

Re: How do I remove the Closed Caption setting on my device?

Some channels use the default Roku caption setting, while others have their own setting within the channel itself. For the Roku setting, you will find it in the main Settings menu under Captions. You can have them always, on replay, or off. For the internal channel settings, you'll have to look inside each one for it's settings. Some, like Amazon, you can only access the captions menu while something is playing.

On my Roku Ultra you can turn off captions under the ‘Options’ drop down menu.
