How can I 're-use' a Roku stick 3600x after upgrading?

Upgraded tv from Streaming Stick 3600x to latest Streaming Stick+ (3810);

how do I install it ('replaced' 3600x) onto daughter's tv?

Just plug it in.  It should be ready to go with the same channels/apps.  Keep in mind than any channels/apps you add/remove from one Roku device will be added/removed from every Roku device linked to the same account.  The new stick may support channels/apps that the older stick does not.

I suppose you took roku up on upgrading the 3600 stick to 3810 stick+ for $34.99? I think roku wants the old models left out of service, I guess there's nothing actually stopping you from reusing it?

Exactly!!   But it seems wasteful to toss it in trash...plus we have one tv

that receive it's streaming through a Blu-ray player...perfect candidate
