I'm having the same issue. Is there a fix?
Thanks for the inquiry.
We would recommend that you restart your device, as well as replace the batteries in your remote. If the issue is still not resolved, please send me a PM with a screenshot of the screen that you are seeing along with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number of the Roku device from Settings>System>About. I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
Danny,
As you surely must know by now, the issues herein reported are NOT "fixable" via the standard "power off" "restort" "reset" procedures, but rather faults in the firmware update that have caused multiple functionality problems and about which, as far as I know, Roku has been notably silent, despite monitoring the comments and complaints posted here that are, every day, increasing. No live customer support. No advisories re: Roku repaired update. We post, we describe, we're all, with but a couple of exceptions, polite, exasperated, and increasingly suspicious of Roku's behavior. If you know anything's in the works, so to speak, I believe you'd already have shared it.

The fact that the software will upgrade itself eventually.... is not the issue, the fact that clicking it won't work is. Making it sound like it's dumb to go to that screen to manually check is not a solution to the problem. It's pretty useless.
