Got a Roku Ultra 4K Christmas. Setting it up, loaded all our subscriptions & log ins & passwords only to find all were entirely erased after testing out the guest mode and returning to our (non guest mode) settings. Did we miss any set-up steps that should’ve saved our own set-up? Or is the device designed to wipe out homeowners settings each time the device goes to guest mode? This appears to be its design, which if true, has really missed a huge feature to the buyer who wants the guest mode functionality when needed on a tv that is also used by a constant party, such as a home owner. Appreciate a technicians comments on this set -up and possible design flaw. Thank you.
"When your guests leave, they will be signed out of all their subscription channels automatically on the sign-out date they selected. You can exit Guest Mode directly on your Roku device, or you can sign in to your Roku account and exit Guest Mode remotely. After you exit Guest Mode, all your original settings are restored and channels are installed. You may need to sign in to your subscription channels again to access your content."

Yes this is a “feature not a bug.” It’s utter garbage however, there are other threads on this (search “guest mode”). Makes guest mode borderline pointless unless you like repeatedly entering your credentials for all your services.
