My Roku Express keeps updating, But never actually starts up. Anyone tell me what’s going on?
I can't really say what's going on, but you may want to try a factory reset. Find the little pinhole and press the reset button for no less than 30 seconds ignoring anything that may appear onscreen.

We recommend rebooting both your wireless router and your Roku device.
I'd also recommend trying to connect your device to an alternate network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if you can update and finish setting up your Roku device. Then once your device is setup, try switching back to your home wireless network.
