I'm using the roku premiere 3920 series in the U.S. now. But I have to go back to my country next year. And I want to bring it with me. Will it work outside the U.S.?
It will work anywhere, but as they say, "some features and channels may not be available". Setting up a Roku in one country and then taking it to another is always problematic. You may have to factory reset it, create a new Roku account while you're in the new country, and start all over. I don't think there's a way to know for sure what will happen, especially if the new country is not a supported region.
Thanks for the inquiry, @Genie.
Roku player should work fine in any country, although some channels and content may work there, others will have geo-restrictions that prevent them from working and channels may not be available on your device in that location, based on each channel provider's discretion, but you can count on Netflix and YouTube working just about anywhere.
Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!
Regards,
Mary
