I don’t know about the Roku TV, but on the external Roku, you can press Home before (or even after) turning the TV off. There are other tricks you can use – like many TVs turn off the USB port so some people plug their Rokus into that. There are also smart power strips where you plug in one device (like the TV) as the master, and when it senses that the master if off, it removes power to the other sockets.
