Change device name and location

I keep getting an error message every time I try and change a device location and name. Has anyone else?

Sometimes, clearing the Roku cookies from the Web browser will help.

Log out of Roku.

Close Roku page tab.

Clear all cookies containing "roku"

Log on to https://my.roku.com and scroll down.

You should be able to make changes now.

I don’t think I’ve gotten any name/location errors on my device, so I do not understand what you’re talking about.  You probably had to do the change manually.

I want to change the name of my device. I log into my account but I don't see an option for it. Can you tell me how to change it?

Log into your account at my.roku.com using the email shown via Settings > System > Account as your login name.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page where your linked devices are listed.  Change the name or location of each by clicking on the pencil icon and editing the entry.  Then click the Update button .
