Cannot Read Anything in Search Area because of BG, help!

Hello! Is anyone else experiencing this I can't find anything online about it. When you go to search something you cannot read any of the options because the background becomes a screenshot from the film you are searching and the words become unreadable on the background. Does anyone know how to fix this? I just updated to a roku+ streaming stick from an XS and it is the most frustrating thing about it. 

I don't know how to add a photo otherwise I would show it!

Is this a search you are running via the Roku's own menu options, or are you in one of the channels and running via THEIR search option?
