Just finish chat with Comcast, they have no answers, answers belong to ROKU.
On Comcast channel guide:
you can't see what's next while watching a program, on the mini guide, you can only check all channels(not the ones you subscribed nor your favorites) and ONLY in current time, not hours ahead and at least past hour or two.
You must get out of program to check favorites or subscribed channels ahead of time and pray that it will be fast going forward in time and that it will not bump you out of guide.
we got this thing a year ago and still shows "BETA"
No decent basic features, copy and paste ROKU channel tv guide and replaced it with Comcast's guide, fine tune software to show all, subscribed, favorites.
Moving to another channel becomes a test of patience, you can't dial channel number for instant access, you must go one by one, give me a brake.
This has nothing to do with Roku. Roku is only a platform that developers write for. Comcast chatbots are sales droids with no knowledge of anything that is not in their script.
If you have a phone or tablet that can run the xfinity stream app it is a lot easier to use for browsing the channel guide and/or setting DVR recordings than doing it on the roku. Once you find what you want to watch either start a recording you can pick from the roku or put that channel in your favorites to pick from a smaller list.
