Blank screen

I just bought a roku express, I did everything as instructed but after it updated the screen showed the Roku logo on the screen then went black. There is a hint of light and you can here clicking when you scroll up and down but you can’t see anything. I have a Emerson TV and the roku is plugged into a HDMI directly to the tv. I reset numerous time and it is still not doing anything.

I’m having the same problem. My tv support team said it’s a compatibility issue.

Set up help - Roku Premiere: BLANK SCREEN

Hi.  I purchased a Roku Premiere streaming player (device ID: K42034948765) and when I try to set it up, the screen goes black.  I'm not sure if it's the Roku device or if my TV is too old.  Or maybe it's something else?  I don't know.

Here's the information on my LG TV:

LG 26LH20 (8/2009)

Model number: 26LH20-UA

Serial Number: 908FXFV1L086

Please help.
